What is Callanetics?
Callanetics was developed by Callan Pinckney as she searched for a solution to her own health problems. She created movements and exercises that helped reduce her pain and address her physical issues. With regular practice, not only did her pain disappear, but her body also became more toned and sculpted, and she felt better in her body than ever before.

I discovered Callanetics in 1993, when the “Blue Book” was published in Hungary. I immediately felt as if this form of movement had been created especially for me! It was love at first sight—and it has been ever since. 🙂
Previously – mainly in pursuit of a beautiful body shape – I tried many forms of exercise, such as jazz ballet, running, gym workouts, and swimming, but none of them truly captivated me. Callanetics, however, shaped my body with incredible speed and, to my greatest surprise, had a transformative effect on my soul as well—as a “side effect.”
Since then, Callanetics has become part of my everyday life. It had long been a cherished dream of mine to turn this passion into something that could benefit others as well, so in July 2025 I became a Callanetics instructor, and I currently teach classes in Budapest.
